Yes, you may still attend Way2GoMaryland hosted events if you did not pre-register. We do ask that you pre-register so that we can better prepare give-a-way items, catering, and printed informational pieces.
Way2GoMaryland hosts events twice a year. One event is held during the spring and one is held during the fall. Each event is held in a different county. Way2GoMaryland does have information booths at various community events. Check the calendar to stay up to date with Way2Go events and information booths.
Way2GoMaryland is the University System of Maryland's statewide information campaign to encourage more students to begin preparing for college early.
Way2Go events usually include a discussion by a panel of USM students who offer candid answers to questions posed by the families, a session for parents regarding paying for college, a session for students regarding choosing a college major, and a mini-college fair at which representatives from our admissions and financial aid offices talk to participants and answer their questions.
You can submit information about the event by visiting the Share an Event page and completing the form. The event is subject for approval by Way2Go staff. It is best to submit event information at least two weeks prior to the event's date. The event must be free and open to the public. The University System of Maryland does not endorse events that are not hosted or sponsored by the University System of Maryland.
